No one is too young for cervical cancer. Most cervical cancers are caused by HPV virus’s which are a group of over 100 viruses causing cervical cancer due to infections during sexual intercourse or due to transmission during oral sex.
Multiple sexual partners can increase the risk manifold
The HPV vaccine, a preventative vaccine helps protect against cervical cancers. Ideally, the vaccine needs to be taken as soon a girl attains puberty before the onset of sexual activity.
